Gifts for collectors
Start with what the recipient actually wants: a particular character, a surprise or a better way to display what they own. More boxes are not automatically a better gift.
What to measure
- Ask for the exact brand, series, character and size, or an explicitly wanted item from their wishlist. An unmarked checklist entry is not a wish.
- For an accessory, ask for a shelf measurement and the largest figure’s footprint and height. Do not infer size from a product photograph.
- Set a delivered budget that includes postage and possible import costs. Leave room for the recipient’s location and return arrangements.

Before paying
- Start at the official brand store or regional directory for the toy. A marketplace name or familiar photo alone does not verify the seller.
- Check suitability and age guidance on the specific product. Collector figures and small parts are not automatically suitable for young children.
- Confirm delivery destination, gift receipt and return deadline with the actual seller. Do not assume holiday extensions or advertised arrival dates apply to every offer.
