Display cases & risers
Choose between an enclosed case, an open riser and the shelf you already own. Inside dimensions and access matter more than a claimed figure count.
What to measure
- Measure the widest point, depth and total height of each figure, including its base and projecting parts. A series name is not a size specification.
- Measure usable inside width, depth and height. Subtract hinges, door travel and shelf supports; leave room to put a hand in and lift the figure out.
- For a riser, check every tier’s depth, height and support surface. The tallest figure on the top tier must still clear the enclosure.

IKEA BAGGEBO: glass door, mesh sides
Article 805.029.98 combines a glass door with mesh construction. It is not a sealed dust barrier. Compare enclosure construction, and follow the anchoring instructions. Overall dimensions on a listing are not usable shelf dimensions.

- Compare internal measurements rather than the headline outside dimensions. Ask the seller if only the outside size is given.
- Check stated load limits, assembly, wall-anchoring instructions and the intended support surface. A fit calculation does not prove stability or safety.
- Check whether risers, shelves and fixing hardware are included. Compare the delivered total and the return cost for bulky items.
