Start a collection you can keep enjoying

Choose a small theme, a spending limit and a place to display it. A clear wish list is more useful than treating every new release as a missing piece.

Define what belongs

Write one sentence about the collection: a character, a series or a display theme. Keep a short wanted list and mark optional pieces. Brand identity alone may cover figures, plush and accessories with very different space needs.

Count distinct styles, not boxes

Separate owned styles from duplicate copies. For each piece, record the exact release and format, condition, purchase date and actual delivered cost. Keep missing fields blank rather than guessing the resale price.

Pick the right next action

If the desired set is nearly complete, estimate the chance of a new style and compare a confirmed item. If space is the bottleneck, measure before buying. Keeping your current collection can be the right next step too.

Keep a portable record

Use the tracker’s local records or the ledger’s supported export controls and keep a backup. Browser storage is not a guarantee against data loss. An AI assistant can calculate scenarios but cannot read your private local collection through the public TDS MCP server.
