Calculation method

If K regular styles share probability 1 − s equally, and h different regular styles are owned, expected new styles from n independent boxes are (K − h) × [1 − (1 − (1 − s)/K)^n]. Repeats = expected regular draws minus new styles. Secret outcomes remain separate. Fractional results are averages across repeated experiments.

Worked example: 6 equally likely regular styles, 4 already owned, 6 independent boxes and no secrets produce about 1.33 new regular styles and 4.67 regular repeats on average.

These models do not describe sealed no-repeat cases, POP NOW hints or changing probabilities. Unknown rates should stay unknown. Never copy a rate from another brand or release.
