Circulating: “Someone pulled a secret on their first box, so it happens.”
Actually: It does happen — that is what a 1.4% chance means, not what it feels like. The mistake is reading a rare event that occurred as evidence the rate is higher than printed. A first-box secret is exactly as likely as a 72nd-box secret.
