The deal, stated plainly: we are a new site with data nobody else publishes, and no audience. You have an audience and get asked the same three questions every week — is this shop legit, how heavy is it, what will customs cost. We would rather you use our answers than write them again from scratch.

None of the snippets on this page contain an affiliate link, and none of them require credit. That is deliberate: a snippet that quietly monetises your audience is one you would be right to refuse.

Facts you can quote, with the sourcing

Everything here is checkable. If you find one of these wrong, tell us and we will correct it publicly.

Height barely predicts weight — build does. Across 33 current listings we recorded, 150–151 cm dolls ran from 43 lb (slim B-cup) to 94 lb (heavy M-cup), and a slim 151 cm doll was lighter than every 140 cm doll in the sample. Full chart and method →
"Torso" hides a five-fold range. Small torsos from 13 lb; large 140 cm-class torsos 62–65 lb — as heavy as some complete dolls.
The US $800 duty-free allowance is gone. Suspended for all countries on 29 August 2025 (EO 14324), made indefinite for non-postal shipments in June 2026. Germany dropped its €150 threshold on 1 July 2026. Sources →
Nobody can honestly quote a US duty rate for a full-size doll. The tariff classification is unsettled. The useful question is DDP or DDU.
A 50%+ discount is a counterfeit signal, not a bargain. Factories set minimum pricing; legitimate vendors sit roughly 10–15% below list.
Routine care costs 15–30 minutes after every use, before any monthly work. That number, not the word "maintenance", is what decides TPE vs silicone.

Short version of what it checks: pricing within ~10-15% of factory list (a 50%+ discount is a counterfeit signal, not a deal), PayPal or card accepted, a written factory-photo-before-dispatch policy, and brand authorisation the factory itself will confirm.

Also worth asking before you pay: which country does it physically ship from, and is the price DDP or DDU. Both catch problems that don't show up on the product page.

Don't guess from the height — it barely predicts weight. In 33 real listings, 150-151cm dolls ranged from 43lb (slim build) to 94lb (heavy build). A slim 151cm doll was lighter than every 140cm doll in the sample.

Take the stated weight of the exact doll you're looking at and carry that up your stairs before you buy. It'll be harder than the test, because a doll is limp and can't hold on.

What we ask for — and what we don't

We don't ask for credit. Use the facts uncredited if that suits you better. We would rather the information circulate than be attributed.
We don't ask for a link. If one is useful to your audience, great. If not, the snippets stand alone on purpose.
Please don't spam with these. Dropping the same link into unrelated threads gets you banned and gets this domain blacklisted — which destroys the only thing we have. Use them where someone actually asked.
Tell us when we're wrong. Corrections get published with the date. That standard is the only reason any of this is worth quoting.
