Authentic: exactly nine distinct teeth with visible gaps. Counterfeit tell: wrong count, fused teeth, or a single white blob.

Authentic: soft peach tone, airbrushed blush, glossy eye depth. Counterfeit tell: harsh pink/orange, solid-circle blush, flat dull eyes.

Authentic: matte box, muted pastels, embossed series name, clean print. Counterfeit tell: glossy, uneven, washed-out or over-saturated print.

Authentic: silver scratch label + QR; scratch, scan (it should open fwsy.popmart.com) and enter the code — a valid code confirms. Counterfeit tell: no seal, a QR landing on a lookalike domain, or a code that comes back invalid / already used — check the domain in your browser's address bar.

Authentic: Pop Mart engraving / artist name on the foot on 2024+ releases; newer editions also show a UV-reactive mark under the right foot with a UV torch. Counterfeit tell: missing or mushy markings on recent series, or no glow / a smudge under UV where the series should have one. On older series, absence is a question, not a verdict — answer “can't tell”.

Authentic: even fur, clean seams, crisp paint edges, substantial feel. Counterfeit tell: rough seams, grainy patches, mismatched gloss, light hollow plastic.
