Discreet shipping, customs & privacy — what actually happens
What the box looks like
- Reputable vendors ship in a plain brown cardboard crate with no product names, no brand logos, no images. The shipping label shows a neutral company name (often a generic trading or logistics name).
- The crate is big and heavy — a full-size doll arrives in a box roughly 5 ft long, 60–120 lb. Neighbors will see a large box, nothing more. Plan how you'll get it inside alone; some owners schedule delivery for a workday morning or use a pickup point.
- Torsos and compact items ship in ordinary parcel boxes — far easier to receive discreetly.
What your card statement says
- Vetted vendors use neutral billing descriptors — a generic company name, not a product description. Ask support before ordering: "What descriptor appears on my statement?" A legitimate shop answers directly.
- Extra insulation: pay via PayPal (statement shows PayPal + a neutral merchant name) — which also gives you the 180-day dispute window.
Customs, by destination

Timeline expectations (so tracking doesn't eat you alive)
- Production: 1–4 weeks. Made-to-order is normal. Silence during production is normal too.
- Factory photos → your approval. The step you never skip. Nothing ships until you approve.
- Freight: 1–3 weeks. Sea/air freight, then local courier. Tracking may stall for days at customs — that's normal.
- Delivery. Some couriers require a signature for high-value crates. If discretion matters, arrange a delivery day you're home alone or use a depot pickup.
If the crate arrives damaged
- Film the unboxing before you open it. Continuous video from sealed crate to unwrapped doll is the evidence that wins disputes.
- Note visible crate damage with the courier at delivery if possible.
- Document everything in photos, contact the vendor in writing immediately, and know your fallback: PayPal dispute (180 days) or card chargeback. Minor issues (a loose finger wire, small tears) are commonly self-repaired — see the care guide.
