Enlarge a small image with local AI.

Use it when you need a larger raster image, then compare the result at full size. Desktop processing needs a compatible Vulkan-capable GPU; a CPU alone is not the normal supported path. Upscayl Cloud is separate.

Upscaling estimates detail; it cannot recover an authoritative original. Faces, lettering and textures can change. Larger dimensions usually increase file size.

Install from the official desktop download and check GPU support.

Keep the original and upscale a copy of one image.

Inspect faces and text at 100%; reject invented details.

Use TDS image compression to compare export size for the web.
